Distance to the City Centre
Hobart International Airport (HBA) has strong connections to Melbourne and Sydney. It can be found on 17.8 km of the city centre of Hobart. You won’t find any public transport from the airport to the Hobart city centre. But you can use the shuttle bus, Uber or taxi service, which can bring you to Hobart in 20-60 minutes.
Transport from Hobart
Public buses will transport you almost anywhere within Hobart. The excellent option is to pick up a Day Rover ticket for A$5.30 in the morning. Be aware that the Hobart taxis charge a meter drop of A$3.60, along with an around A$3 per mile beyond that.
