Cheap Flights to dalaman

Overview
Dalaman is situated on the south-western coast of Turkey and visiting it provides easy access to several of the country’s top scenic attractions. Major gateway to neighbouring seaside resorts like Fethiye, the town itself is progressively earning the reputation as a worthy holiday spot in the world.
Idyllically located amidst snow-tipped mountains and turquoise warm waters, Dalaman incorporates all the mythical intrigue of the Aegean Coast. The wider region encompasses thousands of years of history and is peppered with awe-inspiring artefacts, ranging from Lycian rock tombs to Roman baths and Ottoman forts.
Some of the most breathtaking ruins can be encountered in Fethiye - constructed on top of the ancient city of Telmessos - while travellers to Olu Deniz can enjoy the best of pristine white beaches located in Turkey. The port city of Marmaris, world-famous for yacht marina and its hippest nightlife, is also a popular stop-over for backpackers and explorers.

Dalaman Attractions and Activities
1. Explore the ghost town of Kayaköy
It’s an eerie experience to walk the echoing streets of Kayaköy. The town has been abandoned since the 1920s when its last inhabitants were driven out by conflict. The 350 buildings they left behind – many now roofless and crumbling – are maintained as a museum and historical monument.

2. Clear waters of the Blue Lagoon
It’s easy to see why the Blue Lagoon at Ölüdeniz is among the most photographed places on the Turkish coast. Hemmed in by forested hills and sheltered from the sea by a narrow spit of sand, it’s an idyllic place to take a dip in calm, crystal-clear waters.

3. Bask in the sun where two seas meet
Sarigerme is where the Aegean Sea meets the Mediterranean, producing waves that appeal to windsurfers, kite-boarders and dinghy sailors. If you’d like to join them, there are outfits in the village where you can hire all the kit you need. Otherwise, there’s no shortage of space on the magnificent seven-mile beach on which to kick back and relax.

4. Wallow away the years at a Mud Spa
Sultaniye is a spa resort that has been attracting visitors since Roman times. A dip in the sulphurous spring waters is reputed to have miraculous effects against aches and pains, and locals claim that a wallow in the natural mud baths can leave you looking 10 years younger.

5. Haggle over handicrafts in Fethiye
Whatever you’re hoping to buy, you’ll almost certainly find it at Fethiye’s Tuesday market. Under a canopy of canvas awnings, you’ll find stalls selling everything from fresh fruit and exotic spices to textiles, jewellery, leatherware and shoes. It’s brash, busy and noisy – and haggling is very much part of the experience.
